Tarot Portraits

These portraits are based on the Tarot. Often seen as an occult divination tool in movies, the Tarot’s major cards are made up of 22 familiar archetypes. Often thought to be created by humanity’s collective unconsciousness, these archetypes are frequently found in myths and stories, such as The Hermit, The Fool, Death, and etc.

In this portrait series, Rosey explores the significance of these archetypes by representing each card with contemporary individuals.
